This is a wild dolphin watching ecology tour and swimming snorkeling trip to Key West’s amazingly beautiful and shallow back-country. Captain Dave Lewis will guide you aboard the 28’ “Coral Reefer” through some of the most undiscovered waters of the Keys. The Gulf of Mexico is teeming with marine life and birds. You’ll see colorful birds like ospreys, all kinds of herons, cormorants (diving birds), pelicans, terns and even the occasional bald eagle. Marine life is so incredibly abundant we’re not sure where to start: There literally hundreds of species of fish in Keys waters, from colorful tropicals to smaller game fish to larger species. From eagle rays, lobsters & hog snapper, to parrotfish, blue tangs, octopus and the famous moray eel. Get your- self one of those disposable underwater cameras, and you won’t stop clicking the entire time!

Froggie’s 28’ glass-bottomed Trojan operates out of the centrally located Garrison Bight Marina three times per day as a “by the seat” abbreviated combo excursion. She is equipped with a brand new, ultra quiet, 225 hp Honda outboard enabling you to reach more remote, unspoiled eco-destinations that the vast Florida Keys has to offer . There is plenty of shade, an onboard restroom and fresh water shower station... very family friendly. The guests make the call as to what to do and where to go: The tour can encompass the “dolphin playground”, the coral reef, historical shipwrecks and more. All include educational narratives covering many of the 500 or so species of fish, coral structures and marine habitat. The glass-bottom in the hull is an unusual plus and allows passengers to catch a preview of what they will see once in the water if they choose to get wet!
